The Beauty of Arcadia University
I’ve only been on campus for about half a semester at this point, but I have never felt more at peace. Even with the overwhelming amount of school work and the stress of trying to find your role on such an active campus, every time I look around I genuinely see and feel the beauty of this campus. With the campus being so beautiful, it comes with plenty of different spots to relax and just sit and enjoy nature.
One of the top spots on campus is Haber Green. The Green is the grassy area right in front of the Commons. The Green is where many events are hosted, but students also have the ability to sit there and relax without being bothered. The Green is gorgeous especially if you enjoy more grassy areas, the grass is very soft and the school does an incredible job at keeping it very healthy and an overall bright color.
There are also many different tables and chairs on campus which I absolutely love. With all of these different chairs and tables, it’s not hard at all to find a place to just be yourself and enjoy nature. Around most of these chairs and tables, there are big, beautiful trees. And since the season is currently changing and we’re finally entering autumn, many of these trees are filled with pleasing fall leaves. The autumn season is completely lovely so far on campus. There are red, orange and brown leaves hanging on trees but they’re also plenty of piles of leaves on the ground which just allows the campus to look even better.
I genuinely enjoy studying outside so far and hanging out with friends while outdoors. One of my favorite outdoor study spots is the pond right outside of Easton Cafe. The pond is very peaceful and calming and after a stressful and overwhelming day, and having the ability to sit at this pond is a great way to cheer yourself up. It’s also great to study here because of how calm and quiet it is which makes it easier to focus.
Arcadia University is beautiful, and I’m glad to have the ability to call this place my home.
