Students in the International Relations, Diplomacy, and Law Major gain real-world knowledge of international affairs and are trained to understand theoretical frameworks of international relations and law, as well as the applied skills of diplomacy, political and policy analysis, and critical thinking. You will gain an understanding of the ways in which nation-states, intergovernmental organizations, and nongovernmental actors cooperate and conflict over key issues of the day. Arcadia’s International Relations faculty develops authentic relationships with students through hands-on learning experiences, whether it be engaging in-class simulations or experiential learning outside of the classroom.
Students in this major also benefit from Arcadia’s vast global network of study abroad programs and experienced faculty who travel the globe with students. Additionally, International Relations, Diplomacy, and Law majors have a clear path to the Master’s program in International Relations and Diplomacy at the American Graduate School in Paris through an assured admissions and/or accelerated BA/MA program.
Our students have successfully pursued graduate training in international relations and diplomacy, and/or careers related to statecraft, diplomacy, and international law.
