Rashmi Radhakrishnan, Arcadia’s chief information officer (CIO), was announced as one of four finalists in the education category of the annual Philadelphia ORBIE awards. The awards, presented by PhillyCIO, celebrate CIOs who have demonstrated excellence in leadership in technology and innovation within the city’s organizations. Other categories for the ORBIE awards include large enterprise, enterprise, large corporate, corporate, and health care. Other finalists in the education category are from The Wharton School, Villanova University, and Rowan University. 

Radhakrishnan is spearheading the multi-phased Digital Transformation efforts at Arcadia. The initiative includes several ambitious projects, including the student 360 Salesforce implementation, overhaul of the technology infrastructure and a strong cybersecurity program to protect all of Arcadia’s campuses worldwide, and user-centric IT support for the entire Arcadia community. 

ORBIE winners will be announced at the Philadelphia ORBIE Award ceremony, which takes place on Oct. 13 from 7:15 to 10:30 a.m. at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Center City.
