Members of the Living Our Values Experience (LOVE) Program presented at the 2023 Social Justice Summit hosted by Drexel University and Critical Conversations in Urban Education (CCUE). Student Co-Facilitators Zyah Fall and Emily Doorbejai, Community Partner Lisa Desphy from WURD Radio, and LOVE Co-Lead, Monica Day, provided insights into the multidisciplinary and co-curricular model of the antiracism program to colleagues in P-20 educational settings from around the country.
The presentation, entitled “L.O.V.E. Troubles: Disrupting Hierarchies in Higher Ed. Through the Living Our Values Experience,” shared experiences, learnings and outcomes from the three years of this program, which has been attended by over 200 Arcadia community members, and is still going strong!
