The Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration at Arcadia University offers a challenging business-based curriculum highlighting key concepts in healthcare administration, business, planning and policy, and legal management.

Studying Healthcare Administration, you will:

Integrate general business and management skills with a working knowledge of the healthcare system.

This foundation course provides an overview of the current health delivery system: Issues of cost, quality and access are discussed among a variety of healthcare settings, including: hospitals, outpatient clinics, and a number of long-term care organizations. You are also introduced to the breadth and depth of career opportunities in health care.

Healthcare Planning and Policy

This course covers the theoretical and historical foundations of healthcare planning and policy development. Current healthcare policy issues are discussed and examined both nationally and internationally.
