Amy joined the Arcadia community in August 2014 as Director of Counseling Services and the Alcohol and Other Drug program. She is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience, primarily in a university setting, having earned her MEd in counseling psychology from Temple University and a BA in psychology from Rutgers, The State University of NJ. Amy spent eighteen years at Drexel University as the Associate Director of Counseling providing administrative oversight to the counseling center and direct clinical services to students. In addition, she established the training program at Drexel’s Counseling Center for masters and doctoral level trainees and created the peer counseling helpline. Though a generalist with an integrative therapeutic style, Amy has a special interest in working with college students with eating issues and body image concerns. In addition, she has spent several years providing clinical supervision for trainees and staff and continues to finds that process extremely rewarding. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and attending the various sporting events and activities that her two daughters are involved in.
