In USA Today, Marshall ’16 Writes on the World of Study Abroad
Natalie Marshall ’16, an International Studies major at Arcadia and collegiate correspondent for USA Today College, writes about Arcadia’s First-Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE) in her Jan. 30 piece, “Arcadia University Offers Study Abroad Opportunities to Incoming Freshmen.” Focusing on the independence, resourcefulness, and love of traveling that students develop in the program, the piece complements what Marshall has previously written for USA Today College.
In her Jan. 12 piece, Marshall shares her thoughts on following through with her decision to study in Paris after three days of attacks that began at the offices of Charlie Hebdo. “Viewpoint: Why Students Should Not Worry About Studying in Paris” looks at the reality of violence in France and addresses concerns people might have in light of recent events.
In her Jan. 16 piece, “5 Simple Ways to Improve Your Foreign Language Skills,” Marshall offers advice, gained from her own experience as well as that of students from other schools, to fellow study abroad students.
