Arcadia’s Graduate Program in Counseling was awarded reaccreditation by the Masters in Psychology and Counseling Accreditation Council (MPCAC) until 2030. This accreditation recognizes the quality and consistency of the program and allows Counseling graduates to apply for licensure as professional counselors in Pennsylvania and most other states. Accreditation also promotes a rigorous and relevant curriculum that shows the Counseling service’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of education.

Arcadia’s program offers a Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) that prepares graduates to provide a broad range of mental health services across various settings. Students choose from seven concentrations that promote multicultural competence, evidence-based practice, self-care, and career development. All faculty are currently practicing clinicians, which allows them to teach from their current experience. The program also offers two dual degrees in which students earn a MAC as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) or a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution (MA).
