Arcadia’s minor in Economics will prepare you with training in rigorous analytical thinking to give you insights into a general background in economics. You will build a strong foundation in both micro- and macroeconomics and data analysis as a step toward graduate study in economic, public administration, or other related areas.
All majors are welcome to study the Economics minor. If you are majoring in Business Administration, your major requirements could satisfy this minor’s requirements.

This course studies the role of money, interest rates, and financial intermediation in the operation of the U.S. economy. The intent of the course is to give you an overview of the U.S. financial system and its global ramifications.

This course is a detailed study of price determination and resource allocation under conditions of pure competition, monopolistic competition, monopoly and oligopoly. You will examine theories of consumer choice, cost, production and economics of time.
Elective Course
Explore the principles and practice of applying economic methods of analysis to issues relating to natural resources and the environment.
Elective Course
Study the analytical treatment of theories and empirical findings in the explanation of trade flows, foreign exchange markets, balance of payment, international liquidity, and world economic institutions.
