Study Abroad

Support Arcadia students in experiencing signature study abroad opportunities in their first-year.  Whether it's Preview travel over spring break or spending a  semester at the Arcadia Center in London during the First-Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE),  these experiences are transformative for the students and allow them to venture into the world.

As a top ranked study abroad University, Arcadia understands the path required to educate and create globally-minded graduates, ready to use their comprehensive experience to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.  Our students learn and work outside the classroom walls, putting knowledge into practice in real and varied ways. Study abroad experiences give students a deeper, more contextual understanding of the world and their place in it.

Philanthropic support allows the university to provide student scholarships for study abroad and additional engagement opportunities such as internships and research.

“My favorite part of the study abroad experience is the connections I've been able to make -- professionally and with my peers. With my peers there's something about being in a foreign country that none of you have been to and being able to rely on each other for resources or sometimes just a friend. You also never know who you will meet that could help shape and aid your professional career and that is something I found exciting during both of my experiences."

-Ebony Scott, Public Health Major, Class of 2022 (Studied abroad in London FYSAE ,Student Abroad Mentorship Program)

“College is about global education and personal growth - you really begin to find yourself in college and I think that immersing yourself in a completely new environment - learning outside the classroom, exploring a new culture, becoming part of the local community where you study, having new adventures - is a great way for you to truly learn about yourself.”

- Julia Mendez, Psychology Major, Class of 2022 (studied abroad in Florence, Student Abroad Mentorship Program)
