Mentorship, relationships, and networking are powerful. Celebrate mentorship in all its forms during Arcadia's one-of-a-kind National Mentor Knight featuring professional development opportunities, educational panels, important discussions, and networking.
Students and recent alumni alike will discover and explore tools to be successful in their current and future endeavors from the alumni who came before them.

Meet the Keynote Speaker: Jen Ng '11
Executive Director in the Institutional Equities Division and Risk Officer for Morgan Stanley Jen Ng '11 will deliver the keynote address during National Mentor Knight, speaking to the importance of authenticity in the work place. Jen is is also Co-Chair of Morgan Stanley’s Global LGBT+ and Ally Network. She is also active with the New York State Guard and was recently deployed to assist in the COVID19 pandemic. Jen previously served as co-chair of Open Finance Women+, a Pride network across Wall St. banks. She is passionate about driving equality in the local community and won the Giving Back award from Morgan Stanley in 2018 for her efforts. Jen has been featured on Bloomberg panels, Open Finance industry roundtables and numerous college campuses discussing topics such as leadership and authenticity in the workplace. It is her focus to highlight the benefits of diversity, equity and belonging in the financial industry.

How to Make a Great First Impression with Les Owens '11 Hear from alumnus Les Owen's '11 as he discusses how to best present yourself to employers, how to succeed in the first 90 days in a new job, salary negotiations, and everything you need to know to make a lasting great first impression.
Les is the Director and Head of Client Screening & Monitoring at BNY Mellon, responsible for identifying and resolving Sanctions, AML and Fraud risks that could impact BNY Mellon and its clients around the world. Lester has 10 years of leadership, risk management, and operations experience in the financial services industry. He joined BNY Mellon from Citibank, where he was Head of Client KYC (Know Your Customer) for their Branded CreditCards division. He was responsible for overseeing Client Onboarding, Data Governance, and Regulatory Policy for over 40 million accounts.
Getting Out of Your Own Way with Rachel Fox '15M
Rachel Fox '15M received her Masters in International Public Relations with a focus in New Media Marketing at Arcadia University. Shortly after graduation, she went to work in the Fine Arts Industry, and had the opportunity to work at Dixon Ticonderoga Company. She’s continued to follow her passions to work in animal advocacy, marketing/branding consulting, health and wellness, customer service and overall, helping others. Hear from Rachel as she explores how being mindful and compassionate to self is the first layer to success!
Leading Outside of Traditional Leadership with Matt Ross '16
Matt Ross '16, National Account Manager for the US and Canada at SIC Inc. will share about how you can lead outside the traditional ideas of leadership.
Matt has been in automation since graduating Arcadia University in 2016. He has worked alongside companies such as Amazon, Boeing, Boston Brewing, Proctor & Gamble and many others on projects and strategic initiatives that have both changed American manufacturing and created a greener industry. As a member of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute Trade Association, he also helps generate interest and diversity within the industry by supporting high school and college programs.
