Below is a list of all subscribed databases and other online resources available to the Arcadia community. Access is available worldwide through the links below with your MyArcadia login credentials. You don’t need to log in at the resource. For best results, use Chrome or Firefox.

Art Index Citations and abstracts for 680 art journals, more than 14,000 art dissertations, and more than 215,000 art reproductions.
Art Index Retrospective Citation index of historical literature on a variety of art topics from the years 1929 to 1984, chronicling over half a century of art literature, it covers fine, decorative, and commercial art.
ARTstor More than 2 million high-quality images for education and research from a wide variety of contributors around the world.
AVON (Academic Video Online) A collection of nearly 85,000 subscribed videos from Alexander Street, covering a wide variety of subject areas and publishers.

Books@Ovid More than 200 premium books published by LWW in medicine, nursing, and health sciences that have been designated as Doody’s Core Titles™ by healthcare professionals and medical librarians.
Business Source Complete More than 2,250 active full-text journals and magazines, more than 1,330 active full-text peer-reviewed journals, and nearly 800 active full-text peer-reviewed journals with no embargo.

ClinicalKey This resource for healthcare professionals has over 650 journals and over 1,100 medical reference books. Also includes instructional videos, practice guidelines, medical images, and abstracts from the MEDLINE database.
Criminal Justice Abstracts More than 320 full-text magazines and journals and coverage of 600 journals from around the world.
DOAJ The Directory of Open Access Journals consists of more than 9,000 freely available, scholarly journals in all subjects.

Newspaper Source Plus Full text for more than 1,200 newspapers, more than 40 news magazines, news from more than 130 newswires, more than 74 million full-text articles, and more than 1.7 million television and radio news transcripts.
The New York Times: The library has a campus-wide subscription to The New York Times online. You will need to create an account using your arcadia.edu email for access.
- To set up your account: go to AccessNYT.com and follow the prompts to create your personal account within Arcadia’s subscription. You will be prompted to log into PortalGuard if you haven’t done so already.
- Once your account is set up, you can access the Times from NYTimes.com – click the Login button at the top right of the homepage and use your Arcadia credentials (usually through “Login with Google”).
- You should then be able to log in to nytimes.com with those same credentials anytime, anywhere.
If you have any difficulty creating an account or accessing content on The New York Times website, please contact reference@arcadia.edu so we can help troubleshoot issues and get you connected to the news articles you want to see. (Clearing your browser’s cache and browsing history for the last 24 hours often solves login/access problems).
OmniFile Full-Text Mega Covers several core subjects, featuring full-text articles from more than 3,000 publications, many of which are peer-reviewed. Additional coverage includes graphical content, podcasts, foreign language article translations, and downloadable mp3 and article read alouds.

Philosopher’s Index with Full Text The leading full-text database covering all major fields of philosophy and related disciplines, more than 260 full-text journals.
Points of View Reference Center Contains 400 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument).
PsycARTICLES Over 100 full-text journals from the American Psychological Association.
PsycINFO World’s largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health, produced by the American Psychological Association.
PubMed The public interface for the National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINE database plus other biosciences literature dating back to the 1950s, containing millions of abstracts and links to full-text articles in the health sciences. PubMed is considered the go-to resource for the biosciences. Searching can be done with either free text or the controlled vocabulary of Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

Westlaw Campus Research Comprehensive database of resources for researching U.S. Law. Includes primary sources including case law, statutes, and regulations at the federal and state levels as well as secondary sources e.g., American Law Reports, American Jurisprudence, and over 800 law reviews.
Wiley Online Library Wiley offers an exceptional portfolio of over 1,600 journals covering the full spectrum of life, health and physical sciences, social science and the humanities, and include many titles ranked at the forefront of their field.
